The internet overflows with elderly care information, creating a maze of overwhelming content. Finding relevant answers is time-consuming and challenging, especially for the elderly and their caretakers.
The abundance of information can be confusing and discouraging, preventing elderly individuals from accessing the care they need. With a rapidly aging population, the necessity for efficient, reliable, and easy-to-access health information becomes crucial.
Navigating online health information is particularly daunting for elderly users who may not be as tech-savvy. This challenge is compounded by the rapid growth of the elderly population, necessitating innovative solutions for accessible care.
To address this, we developed Vita, a digital assistant designed to simplify the process of accessing health information. Vita is powered by a carefully curated database of over 1,000 reliable sources, all vetted by healthcare professionals for accuracy. This ensures that the information provided is trustworthy and up-to-date.
Our chat-based system functions similarly to popular AI chatbots but with one crucial difference: Vita's responses are limited to our verified dataset. This ensures all information comes from credible sources, eliminating the risk of inaccurate or misleading content. Vita’s key features include:
Set-Up Flow: Three introductory questions help Vita understand the user’s situation, enabling personalized advice.
Dashboard: An overview of asked questions, interesting articles, and FAQs for easy regular access.

By building this digital assistant we helped elderly and their caretakers find trustworthy information. It's easy to use for any user and helps find useful answers and activities. Therefor less people need to reach out to professionals which gives them more time to help elderly that need care. With a aging population solutions like this are essential to provide the needed care. Our client got a working PoC to showcase the possibilities of Generative AI, a great way to make people enthusiastic to build on a full on production ready version of this tool.
